About Black Pearl Pirate Tours
Black Pearl Pirate Tours began sailing the protected waters of Little Egg Harbor in the summer of 2010. Owned and operated by the Camarda Family, who also own the Miss Beach Haven party boat, the Black Pearl pirate ship is one of LBI’s most popular attractions.
It has always been the Camardas’ lifelong dream to offer families a unique, good old-fashioned, fun experience to remember and cherish for years to come.
The ship was custom built in Crisfield, Maryland in 2009 and meets all United States Coast Guard requirements. The most popular and best feature of all is the water cannon system, featuring 12 cannons that are used to fend off unfriendly pirates during our daily interactive pirate excursions. Black Pearl Pirate Tours runs pirate ship cruises out of Beach Haven on Long Beach Island, NJ. The Black Pearl is a 60-foot custom-built ship with 12 working water cannons, a full-service bar, and a restroom on board, and it’s Coast Guard certified for 78 passengers. We’ve been sailing the protected waters of Little Egg Harbor since 2010, and the ship is rated #1 in outdoor activities in Beach Haven on TripAdvisor. Two cruises make up most of what we do: the Interactive Pirate Excursion for kids and families, and the Sunset Cruise on the bay.

Book the Interactive Pirate Excursion if you have kids who want to dress up, fire water cannons, and hunt down Pirate Pete. Book the Sunset Cruise if you want a relaxed hour on the bay with drinks, a DJ, and the best light of the day for photos. Both are $31 for adults and both sail daily in season, so plenty of families do both on the same trip. The excursion leaves at 4 p.m. and the sunset cruise at 7 p.m.

We sail from 100 Northwest Avenue in Beach Haven, NJ 08008, on the bay side of Long Beach Island. Parking is available at the dock. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before your departure time to check in.

Our season starts in June and runs through the summer, with cruises sailing daily. The calendar on our booking page shows every available date and time, and summer trips fill up fast, so book ahead if you’re planning around a vacation week.

Yes. We offer NJ pirate birthday packages and full private charters of the Black Pearl, and the ship holds up to 78 passengers.
